The Rank Group is a leading European gaming and betting company, headquartered in Great Britain. Rank’s businesses include a number of established brands in gaming and leisure. These include Mecca Bingo, Top Rank España, Grosvenor and G Casinos and Blue Square. Rank engaged XLCubed to work with internal IT for data warehouse and cube development and the business for report development. With XLCubed Web now deployed across bingo clubs and casinos and XLCubed for Excel used throughout Ranks HQ in Berkshire we are now expanding the report deployment to many different areas of the business.

XLCubed has enabled the business to take ownership of report creation which in turn allows our BI team more time to focus on the ETL, and Cube Design.
The significant new functionality in Version 6 of XLCubed along with our roll out of Excel 2010 will greatly enhance our reporting capability and enable us to deliver reports faster than ever before. Integrating with our Sharepoint site enables access from anywhere within Rank group, allowing our clubs to manage performance directly while giving management a centralised view of the business.
