Report Sharing and Deployment

Reports and dashboards designed by non-technical business users in Excel can be published to XLCubed Web and made available to browser and mobile app based users with just a few clicks.

Our use of Excel as the presentation layer and not the database ensures that existing corporate security within the data is fully respected. Existing Active Directory roles and groups can be quickly assimilated into XLCubed Web for folder level access rights.

Adhoc analysis in XLCubed Web includes grids, charts and breakouts

Adhoc Reporting and Web Analytics

XLCubed Web provides a rich adhoc query environment, which can be enabled or disabled by user group as required. Users can easily slice and dice, drill down, and filter data. Custom calculations are simple to add, but data-aware, and respect drill downs and hierarchy repositioning. Exceptions can be highlighted through conditional formatting, and any number can be quickly decomposed to its constituent parts.

The resulting reports can be saved back to the XLCubed report repository for re-use at a later time, or exported to Excel for additional manipulation.

Report distribution as pdf, powerpoint or excel email attachments

Scheduled Report Distribution

An integrated scheduler provides automated delivery of pixel-perfect reporting by PDF, PowerPoint or static Excel, taking the pain out of monthly reporting cycles.

Comment on data points within your organisation in the web

Collaboration

Analysis and insights can be quickly shared through commentary and discussion threads. Data at any level can be commented on to explain anomalies or questioned to start an in-context discussion. Supplementary details can be added as file attachments.

Comments are connected to the data rather than a cell, so will always appear in their correct context. Administrators determine user access levels to make or view comments.
