XLCubed version 9 was today launched at the PASS conference in Seattle. PASS is the worlds largest gathering of Micrsoft BI professionals, and proved a great platform to introduce version 9. The initial reaction was extremely positive, and the new capabilities on relational SQL data and responsive dashboards generated a lot of excitment from attendees.

September 28 and 29 saw the first XLCubed user conference for the DACH region. The event was held in Dusseldorf with our partner pmOne and proved a huge success.
Day one started with XLCubed previewing the key aspects of version 9 which will be released in October at the PASS summit in Seattle. Much of the v9 functionality has been customer led, and it was great to get such resoundingly positive feedback from the attendees.
In this video Gary Crawford, COO XLCubed, introduces Version 9 of XLCubed. He demos fast web report publishing for reports that stay data connected; viewports for complex workbooks; and XLCubed's new dashboard designer. The user group especially appreciated XLCubed's mobile optimisation, data slicers, mashups and compatibility with additional data sources, including Oracle and SAP HANA, and big data sources such as BigQuery.
This video captures the feedback of partners and customers at the XLerate XLCubed user conference in Dusseldorf, run with our DACH region partner pmOne. BI professionals explain their need for solution flexibility and simplicity to guarantee performance and user satisfaction, as well as to reduce adoption and training costs. Customers are frank with their views about XLCubed's value pricing compared with competitors whose licensing models they consider "over the top." The release of V9, with its mobile capability and compatibility with multiple data sources, is warmly received.

Last month saw another meeting of the Danish XLCubed Network Group, organised by our partner Solitwork. The events are hosted by our customers, and this month's was kindly facilitated by TDC, Denmark's largest telecommunications company.
June saw two very successful customer events with our partner Evolusys, in Geneva and Lille.
We are pleased to welcome Artis Consulting to the XLCubed partner program. Artis are based in Richardson, Texas and serve customers across the TOLA region. They have a wealth of experience in all aspects of Microsoft Business Intelligence and Analysis Services, and we look forward to working together.
